Having lived at the epicenter of the Mau Mau during the 1950s, as well as in Eastleigh in the 70s, I see the Kenya Government having a very similar problem. Somalis who fled Somalia to escape Al-Shabaab are elbow to elbow with Al-Shabaab terrorists who also fled to Nairobi to find safe haven and stir the pot of hatred.
So, like the Kikuyu in Kiambu in the 1950s, like the Kikuyu chiefs, there are mixed loyalties. The Kenya police, military, and navy suffer the consequences, and the tourist trade is down. Same issues, only this time it is in the name of Allah and the bondage of Sharia Law, not freedom.

I've been in African countries, including Kenya, not uninterruptedly, but in total for over two years, in recent time.
Africans are open to listening re. Mungo (God.) They need godly men to talk to them! To preach and teach what's right!
Steve, what about you and Mike Ramey getting together and doing something for Africans? What about video presentations? And going to them in person?
Africans are neglected by people in the West. They need people who love them to go to them URGENTLY! To preach the gospel and show them the love of Christ! To see them grounded in sound doctrine (combat the error abounding today with the right tools) and established in the faith!
Please, there's a desperate need for men of God to give guidance from the Bible in Africa! To give sound Bible teaching and good biblical information.
Africa will listen to godly men!
Can you and Mike please do something for Africa? Get in on the openness there. Men there are open and will listen. And some want to study the Bible. Great opportunity for the Lord and His gospel in Africa right now!
